OUTERLOOP MANAGEMENT ADDS WEST COAST OFFICE
Outerloop Management has announced the opening of its West Coast division, which will expand the three-year-old company's reach in the music and entertainment industry. Shawn Keith, based in Los Angeles, will provide strategic complement to the management company, which has a roster of acts that includes Emery (Tooth and Nail), Darkest Hour
(Victory Records), Necrophagist (Relapse Records) Misery Signals(Ferret Music), Strike Anywhere (FAT Wreck Chords), Cephalic Carnage(Relapse Records), Himsa (Century Media), Lifetime (Fueled by Ramen) and Arsonists Get All the Girls (Century Media).
The addition of Keith to Outerloop's West Coast division adds Emmure (Victory Records) and Born of Osiris (Sumerian Records) to the company's band roster.
Mike Mowery, co-owner of Outerloop and an artist manager, is excited about the addition of Keith. "I've had the pleasure of working with Shawn over the past year as a tour manager on the Summer Slaughter and Death by Decibels tour packages we put together in 2007."
Mowery added, "As a former tour manager myself, I can see that Shawn holds the qualities necessary of a new manager. I expect in a short amount of time Shawn will make a significant impact on the careers of his bands."
Jeff Cohen, Outerloop co-owner and also an entertainment attorney, said, "Shawn adds a key element to the growth of Outerloop Management. A West Coast arm is something we see as an instrumental aspect of our continued expansion."
Cohen added, "We have a number of exciting things already popping from our East Coast office. With Shawn on the West Coast we expect to have a more substantial impact across the US."
Outerloop Management operates out of the Washington, D.C., area and now has a Los Angeles division. The active managers are Mike Mowery, Scott Andrews, Derek Brewer and Shawn Keith.
