Album of the Week
ROLAND S. HOWARD Pop Crimes (Liberation Music/Mushroom Group) Rowland S Howard, a key figure of the Melbourne underground music for
decades, releases his second solo album entitled Pop Crimes. Having
showcased his distinctive, occasionally bleak romanticism through
influential bands such as the Boys Next Door, the Birthday Party, These
Immortal Souls, Crime And The City Solution, and Honeymoon In Red,
Rowland S. Howard's latest record is a powerful and haunting reminder
of Rowland's continuing strength and originality as a songwriter. More Roland here.
