As I was shopping around today for the last minute wedding stuff I kept seeing signs everywhere of Proposition 8 in California which would not allow gay marriage to be legalized in the state. I asked the pastor of the last place I sang at this weekend what the church's stand is on this only because I saw on the net a bunch of pastors who are against prop 8 or voting "no" (this would allow gay marriage to take place). I viewed their blogs and vlogs and their argument for allowing gay marriage is because it limits peoples beliefs and they say that we need religious freedom, which is why this country was formed... r u with me still? I spoke to a pastor friend of mine and he told me that if gay marriage is allowed that he could not tell a gay couple he couldnt marry because they were gay without being in danger of being sued???? can anyone help me? is this true? what do you guys think and why? and if there are any issues or confusions here it goes....
Vote "yes" prop 8 means= NO gay marriage Vote "no" prop 8 means= Yes gay marriage
