Well I've been getting a fair amount of questions about the status of the new CD so i thought I would give a quick status report.
It is coming along very well, though not as quickly as hoped (they never do though)
All 12 tracks are in various stages of completion and I'm thrilled to have a stellar cast of international musicians on it, from Italy, Holland, Norway and of course the good ol U.S.of A.
including the legendary Vinnie Coliauta and Jimmy Haslip on three tracks.
I really feel this will be a notable progression from the last one, while including tracks that carry on the spirit of some of those songs from Walk the Earth, it will also include some interesting departures as well, going slightly edgier on a couple of tracks and quieter and more spacious on a couple of others.
So a little wider dynamic range and just generally reflecting my growth artistically in recent years.
I'll check back in as it gets closer to completion, hopefully before 08...
