I have an old pick up truck that has been sitting out front on a county right of way for 5 years.
Earlier this month the county code enforcement officer stopped by and asked me to move it saying that one of the neighbors (the tractor driver I suspect) had complained about it.
We moved it to the west side of our property adjacent to the easement and covered it with a tarp.
There was some old traffic cones in a junk pile at work so I brought them home and placed them on my property along the easement and around the truck. With in an hour of me setting out the cones, my neighbor stopped his SUV and threw all of the cones into the trees on my property.
I replaced them after he left and was getting ready for the last day of the Archery deer hunt (that I missed) when I heard the little tractor steaming down the road.
He dropped the bucket of the tractor at speed scraping along the edge of my property with no regard for the pets or children in my yard. Scooping up the cones and ran into an old oyster tub full of floats and pushed it into my driveway.
After I had made sure that he was not going to continue I called 9-1-1, after an hour an officer showed up and we explained the situation.
Today I am getting an anti harassment / restraining order against the tractor driver and contacting a surveyor and plan on fencing my west boundary and using what ever means necessary to protect my land.

You might also consider civil damages. The police report would be great evidence.
