My first ever rock concert was in 1981 at Alpine Valley Wisconsin with the Rockets, Def Leppard and Ozzy Osbourne with Randy Rhoads. I will never forget that day...NEVER!
Randy Rhoads just played the most intense guitarwork I have ever heard. I was so much looking forward to seeing him again with Ozzy but that never did happen. March 19 is a day that bring immense saddness to me. Even to this day I get very misty eyed thinking of would could have been. There are many, many, many, talented guitarists in this world but Randy Rhoads was simply the finest guitarist that my ears have ever heard. Nothing and no one could bring such joy to me as has Randy Rhoads. God bless the master guitarist. There could only be one...and his name is Randy Rhoads! Peace to the entire Rhoads family.
With love, respect, and admiration. A fan...

Dear Ms. Rhoads, thank you for bringing the best guitar player, hands down, that has ever picked up the "axe" into this world. HE is the reason why I have picked up my guitar. He is terribly missed. Although it was ages before I was born, I feel as if his passing is recent. Take care, and may God bless you, Kelle, and Kathy

Dear Mrs. Rhoads,
Randy Rhoads is my favorite guitarist, every single day i listen to his guitar work. I really don't stop thinking about him, he is why i picked up a guitar and never want to stop. I wish i was born back when he was, so i could atleast meet him, he seemed like such a warm hearted person. I also wish i could be there at his memorial site, but im far away from California. This is my respects to Mr. Randy Rhoads. May the legend live on.

Randy is my biggest inspiration, and reason I held a guitar. He was a big inspiration to me, as he was to millions more! His techniques on the guitar were amazing, as he was an innovator to the electric guitar, and acoustic too! He is missed by us all, and his music still lives today. He is in my thoughts everyday and will always be. He was truly a prodigy and born for guitar! Well, there is more I would like to say but let me say this. Thank you Ms. Rhoads for bringing such a wonderful person in the world, he is amazing person and is thought about everyday. Thank you.

Much love to you and the Family,

Can still remember trying to work out all the guitar on Blizzard and Diary back in the day. Such inspired work. Even after 27 years, Revelation (Mother Earth) still brings a tear to my eye. Unfortunately, i never saw him live. But one outstanding memory I do have is sitting in Ozzy's kitchen, when he lived in Pacific Palisades, LA back in '92 talking with him about Randy. Telling me what a lovely guy he was. Ozzy even gave me his copy of Diary which I still treasure. Randy most certainly inspired my guitar playing over the 27 years I've been playing, and will do to many up and coming stars of the future. Respect.

To the Rhoads family and especially Delores

I would like to thank you for raising such a positive influence for music fans around the world. I have been a fan of Randy's for quite some time now and I think of him everyday. His death made such an impact but I feel If he were alive today that things would be different especially with Ozzy and Quiet Riot R.I.P Kevin Dubrow. But ill say it again he has influenced me to start playing guitar and when I play I think of him.

Randy will always be in my heart and in the fans around the world and I will never forget him and he will always be remembered.

God bless you and the Rhoads family
