As the days lead up to the UK release (europe & ireland too) of
Art Project on April 20, I try and stay cool and laid back but OH MY GOD a MASCOTT album is coming out in the UK!!
If anyone knows my very first ep,
Electric Poems (anyone?), I sing a yearning line "I dream of England" on the first song "Eyes." I really did, and i still do.
So imagine my excitement when the BBC played songs off of
ART PROJECT not once, but twice in the last few weeks. Gideon Coe played "Nite Owl" on his totally cool BBC 6 show, and then on Saturday "whispering" Bob Harris played "Dream Another Day" on his BBC 2 show and called it "60 seconds of magic..."
Then to top it off, this morning the awesome UK mag WEARS THE TROUSERS ran a feature about the band and asked me 20 questions which i answered in post-coffee full hyper disclosure. They're also giving away a FREE download of "4th of July" for one week, so grab it now!
Get the song and read the article here! You can find out about my very early obsession with Shaun Cassidy.
Love,
Mascott
