While all conservatives need love, I want to focus specifically on Black conservatives finding suitable mates. Why? You know why; Black Americans are so fiercly loyal to the Demcratic Party and all of its propaganda that it is apprently really hard for many Black conservatives to find like-minded companions. Here is a question from one of our blog readers:

Dear Black Conservatives,

I am no math whiz so please stick with me. Blacks are about 10% of America, about 10% of those are conservatives. (If you buy the stats ) That would leave a single black conservative man no matter how good of a catch he may be, .5% of the population of women to choose from!. Now I am not a close minded person. I did the interracial thing in college. I dated every race I came into contact with. But when it comes to finding some one I will be attracted to for the rest of my life, I can pretty much only see that happening with a black woman. Now every one in this group I am sure has heard all the names you get called by the liberals. I have done my share of conversions and openings of minds but most are just not trying to hear it! So what is a black man to do?

Even if there was a dating service out there for us, there would not be enough of us to fill a coffee table.

I have a gf right now. She is a little left of Castro. But not as open minded. So it takes a lot to keep it going. Any advice on how or where to meet like minded women?

My conservative mind-set has provided me with every thing I wanted in life. But ironically has kept that most important thing from me. Some one to share it with.

My answer:

Dear [Reader],

Your question isn't so hard to answer...many Black people think conservatively, but just don't know the politics yet. If you're still finding the superliberals, then you are probably still finding them in the clubs, bars, streets, or college campuses, poetry slams, and wine and cheese sips. Conservative Black women tend to be in churches (this is not all inclusive, but that's where the majority are) and when in 'chic' places, they are there with few or no friends hanging around. Why? We are loners. Find a woman with a posse of friends, and they are all guaranteed to be liberals.

Chickenhead=democrat. (Hey, I don't make the rules..) You ever seen a chickenhead conservative? Didn't think so.

So, the girl who is well dressed but a little plain, studious looking but not hugging a tree or standing on a soapbox, who is wellspoken but not outspoken - SHE'S the kind you're looking for. If she's not a party member yet, she at least has conservative values....and you can work with that.
