BURNETT was devastated by Korman's death, said her assistant, Angie Horejsi. "She loved Harvey very much," Horejsi said. Link to article

VICKI LAWRENCE says, "How fortunate was I as an 18-year-old idiot to run headlong into the greatest sketch comedian of all time, Harvey Korman. He was a mentor and a friend to me. It was impossible not to learn from him, even if just by osmosis. Comedy was very serious business to Harvey. At the core of all his silly, hysterical characters was something honest and true. That was his gift to his fans and that was his gift to me. There isn't a comedian in my generation who didn't look to Harvey as a huge influence. His passing marks an important moment in television history and is a great loss for his family and those of us lucky enough to have watched, laughed, and worked with him." ET article

Another "Burnett Show" co-star LYLE WAGGONER told ET: "The passing of Harvey Korman is a terrible loss to the entertainment world. His amazing creative comedy talent will be remembered forever in television history. It was an honor and privilege to have known him and worked with him. ET article

"He really had a really rough time," TIM CONWAY shares. Then he goes on to say, "The nice thing about television is you never really lose the person," recalling their work together on "The CAROL BURNETT Show" and Harvey's film work, including 'Blazing Saddles' and 'High Anxiety.' One of my fondest childhood memories is my family and I watching the Carol Burnett show and eating popcorn. I loved all of them but Harvey always made me laugh so hard I would almost wet my pants.
Harvey, thank you for the many many laughs. You will be greatly missed.

Sad loss, indeed.
I use to watch The Carol Burnett Show when I first arrived from Cuba as a kid.. and withouth knowing a single word of English I could still be assured a laugh from the entire gang.

RIP, Harvey. Thanx for the jokes. You WILL BE sorely missed.

It was an honor and a stand out memory to have grown up with you on my families living room television set, along with the entire cast of The Carol Burnett Show. In many sad and lonley time's, when I was a kid... You brought humor and laughter into my heart and could fix any bad day... Watching and laughing with you, as Tim Conway put it, "Breaking up" on the show, it really made you feel, (at least me) like you were part of the show. It was different, and the show stood out, because of it. The viewer's were in on it too!...Always leavem' lauging...Harvey Korman you will be missed, when thought of, it will clearly bring a smile...and for everyone, their own favorite memory of a truly amazing man.

As many comments out here attest to the love of the man as well as the admiration of his fans,Mr Korman and the rest of the Carol Burnett Cast were truly comediac geniuses. His memories live on obviously in the wonderful films seen out here. I wish only to extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends in this time of their loss.

I've shared with you how your show positively impacted me while growing up. Clearly, I grew so fond of you and all the regulars on your show. Harvey was a cornerstone. Everyone knows that the cornerstone is very important in building because it's strength supports a massive area.
That's what Harvey was to the Carol Burnett Show - a cornerstone. He was the oil that lubricated and made the machine run better.
My heartfelt condolences go to all the friends and family of Harvey Korman - he was the best of the best.

I remember how much I enjoyed seeing Harvy and Tim work together. I laughed so much I had tears rolling down my face. I remember how much my father enjoyed Harvey's work. No matter what kind of mood we where in whenever The Carol Burnett Show came on, the whole family turned into lauging hyennas.

Harvey's passing is a great loss to the industry, his family, friends and most of all the fans.

Harvey Thanks for the laughter.

It always brought me so much joy, watching Harvey Korman try so hard not to crack up on the Carol Burnett Show. His appearances on that show, as well as in the movies and his wonderful voice work in cartoons like the Flintstones brought a lot of sunshine into my world.

We'll never forget Harvey Korman. I feel lucky that we had him as long as we did! He was a wonderful American treasure!

I remember watching the show with my parents, which brought us together for a good laugh. Poor Harvey could hardly keep a straight face when working with Tim which made the audience laugh even harder. He was so hilarious to watch. He will be missed my millions but not forgotten. My heart goes out to all the people who worked with him and his loving family.
God Bless you all.
Your Fan, Kathy

The Carol Burnett Show was one of my favorite tv shows, and Harvey was one of my favorite parts of that show. That's a rare compliment, coming from me, because I don't like a lot of the comedy I've been seeing on tv. Harvey was easily one of my all-time favorite comedians.

I grew up with Carol, Harvey and the gang and I as so grateful to have some of those classic episodes on DVD to enjoy over and over again! I also enjoyed Harvey's work with Mel Brooks, particularly in "High Anxiety," and of course as the voice of The Great Gazoo on "The Flintstones." Harvey is a national treasure and we are fortunate enough to live in a day and age when we can keep people alive through the magic of film and video!

Thanks for the memories, the laughter and fun. There has not been a television show since the Carol Burnett show that has made me laugh as hard. I loved watching the show to see if Tim or Carol could make Harvey crack up. Saturday's were a special night when I was growing up.

Thank you Harvey, God bless you.

Good Bye

When you say "Harvey Korman", the first thing that comes to mind is the countless times he and Tim Conway would try to hold back the laughter, but to no avail. I can't count how many times I've been so entertained by Harvey, Tim, Carol and Vicki. Harvey was certainly one of the true originals of our time and will be missed. But moreover, he will always be remembered. GoOd love you guys and thanks for the many years of laughs.
