Well well well. There is so much I want to say about the recent events in my life. I don't even know where to begin! Matthew Goodwin came into my life last September, though I didn't know then that he would become the man I'd marry. In late summer, he will be my husband! I am beyond thrilled and so incredibly excited about what God has in store. It's funny--things don't typically turn out exactly as planned, but if you live a life of obedience to God and trust Him even when you can't see the promise being fulfilled, He will fulfill it in due season. And He makes all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes (Romans 8:28).

Matt and I met on the NewSong fall tour last September, but we didn't spend much time together. I remember thinking, "gosh, he's on his computer a lot." I thought he was just a computer nerd, but come to find out he is getting His master's degree in theological studies online through Liberty University. I learned that one quiet afternoon on the Winter Jam tour in a green room in Ohio, when he and I had one of our first good talks. I was very impressed...
