For whatever reason, everytime I get told I have a friend request and I go look, it tells me I have none. I don't get very many, but it's annoying when it happens.

If you send me a friend's request and I don't accept it (and I've been on), try dropping me a my space message. Doesn't have to be much, just "Hey, sent yo ua friends request." I might have to start requesting them on my end to make them go through.
