When the previous members list grows to 3x the size of the active members, it's hard to not be frustrated at the high turn-over rate. Every single moment of momentum has been countered with a devastating loss. It just so happens this round of news includes the departure of Alex Cseh and TJ Maynard. It is still up in the air as to whether the two will be willing to play the last remaining shows, or if Vitals will have to cancel them.


James Christenson, the last original member, and Kris Hardy, the newest addition to the band, aren't ready to call it quits yet, though. While it might have to remain a studio project for the time being, the love of playing out is too great to remain holed up somewhere. The creative direction of the project will most likely shift again towards a more additive approach of writing, and slightly more relient on electronics and looping.


To everyone looking forward to the november short tour, to Eksi Ekso, Burbis, Vowels, Moving Mountains, and others, this is a very tough time, and drastic measures are being taken to still be able to perform. Whether they can be pulled off successfully with such short notice will be determined within the week.
