Okay……….  So here I am at my friend’s house where they have broadband cable and I can do all the work that I need to without worrying about getting bumped off.  It’s getting dark already and it’s only 4 o’clock.  But that’s why we love it here, isn’t it?  Great dark rolling clouds coming in from the west. 

I read the news about the army psychiatrist who lost it at Fort Hood and killed 12 people before they could take him down.  He was going to be sent to Afghanistan  Maybe he didn’t want to kill people over there, so he killed people over here.  Maybe he just snapped.  I read an account this morning of a young Marine in Vietnam, late 60s who went too far too fast.  I don’t want to say what happened, that’s for other places and other people, but I do want to say that his youth was stolen – stolen. 

Do we need more reasons to keep going?  Things have to change and songs are part of the tool box.
