Our friends,

We have been locked away in our studio at Maddie Hill for the past several weeks. The new songs are coming along beautifully. So much of our creativity is birthed from the prodigious landscape here in the country side.  Memories of those we've loved and lost haunt this place. This is where they came to live, visit, listen and love us before and after the creation of The Sugar Dames. It was their lives that, often, inspire the sound. Our treatment is to fashion notes into words...  a sonic story that can be understood, even, with the absence of lyrics. Although we do have a habit of writing pages of  narrative piled high in most corners of the room...  All stirred together and poured, neat, down a microphone ; )

We hope to post new music for you soon. Our full-length, self-titled album will be released... well, too soon to tell.  But we assure you... it will be worth the wait.
