Before Tuen "Dickie" Lee sexually assaulted a waitress from the Quincy, Mass. sushi restaurant he managed, he put on a mask, wore heavy gloves, and dressed all in black. He went to her home, brutally raped her, and left without ever showing his face. But the victim didn't need to see her rapist to know his identity: Dickie Lee's got a bad case of halitosis, and his noxious breath was easily recognizable. A DNA match would confirm that Dickie was the predator.
"This is the most unusual way I've ever heard of a victim identifying their attacker," says AMW Producer Matt Jablow, who traveled to the Boston suburb to investigate the case. "He should be easy to spot – or should I say smell."
Lee skipped town in the middle of his trial, and was convicted in absentia. Cops are desperate to get him back behind bars. We've sniffed out a lot of clues about this fugitive that you can use to help make that happen. Check them out at AMW.com, along with video clips from the police interrogation of Lee. Then, on Saturday night, tune in for more details and your chance to help put this bad breath bad guy away.
