Sugar you know sometimes in your life a person shows up at the right time to build you, who you are, and for me that person has been Norton there have been pivotal times in my life the fist time was in the 80's he was playing at the the sutter street solon in Folsom, pictured here eating chili, well he impressed me so much his tone, his inflection ,his presence, I was in awe made me want to be better. then in 1992 I had a major car accident broke into pieces shattered and dying prays pour out and Norton was one of the people praying for me he sent me a photo and letter, thank you Norton. I have seen him live with Steve Miller and have seen him in small clubs with his band always a pleasure and a bonus to my life. His influence on the harmonica will be felt for years and he will be studied as a Master. RIP my friend.

Sorry to hear that another legend has gone, but some comfort in knowing that his music and inspiration will live on.
