You may have already heard
about a couple who were murdered Thursday night in the Pensacola area. Tragedy
happens all over the word everyday but when you hear something like this
happening in your community, it truly brings you to your knees in sorrow. It
makes it even more personal when you either know the victims or know someone
who knows the victims. I have a friend whose family is close to the Billings
and sent me an email with the following information asking or prayer. ....
....
“The Billings family is an amazing
family where they parents have adopted about 10 children, several with special
needs over the past 25 years. The kids are now without parents and several were
in the house when it happened. The parents were so unselfish and gave so much
to those children! Tonight they are
figuring out even what to do with all the kids as they had to remove them from
the house. It is so horrible and I ask that you all pray earnestly for them and
the kids and the plans that will have to be made”. ....
....
The Billings were known throughout my
community as the most giving and loving people. They had 16 children, 12 that
were adopted. My heart aches for this family and I can’t imagine the pain
the children are going through. Please pray earnestly for mercy, grace and
peace. Let us join together and pray for the Billings family and our community,
as we all deal with this loss.
Psalm 119:28 - My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your
word.
May God’s Peace Be with All of You and This Family!
