| THANKS FOR MAKING THE FLOW SESSION FINALE FOR '07 A SUCCESS! |
My People,
November 15th was the last FLOW SESSION for '07 and we went out with a number of great performances. We also had the good fortune of helping our friends at TMarquise Entertainment and The Kinfuzion Entertainment Group give back to the community by collecting canned goods for Jean Webster's Kitchen. The community of patrons and artists made a good thing happen. Special thanks to featured artist QWEEGY BO for not only putting on an excellent show, but doing so under extreme circumstances due to a serious loss of a relative from the increasing epidemic of violence in the streets. I must also give thanks to the the R&B group FIRE who were gratious enough to step in for The Menu due to a prior committment ( I hope to have The Menu appear for the '08 season). But of course this event would not have been possible with out the artists and patrons who faithfully come out to support this movement over the last four years. I have been fortunate to have the support of FRANCESCA, DJ ILL NINO and THADD G, the inner circle of the FLOW SESSION fam to help me make this open mic series the success that it is today. The last few months have marked the beginning of many great changes to come for our '08 season. We will feature more new artists from within and outside of South Jeresy, more special themed events that will include the return of the all female line up THE LADIES HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY. We will also be releasing the long awaited FLOW SESSION compilation CD produced by THADD G of INFINITE DREAMS. Yes, many changes are planned for '08 but the saddest will be adjusting to the departure of DJ ILL NINO. Unfortunately, November marked the end of a four year run of the FLOW SESSION's main sound provider as he explores new opportunities in the deep South. But look for the Ill one to make an occasional cameo later in '08. So as we take a break for the winter, know that LIQUID FLOW INC and the FLOW SESSION has many great things in store as we continue our mission of forward and positive movement through critical thinking. STAY TUNED.
