A quick followup to the blog post about the Starship Enterprise Project I had the honor to be a part of.  The original model I painted over is located at the Empire AMC 25 in the heart of NYC.  I believe the theater is at 42nd st and 8th ave or thereabouts.  First to send me some pics from the actual installation gets an 8 minute sketch of a Star Trek character...probably Spock heh.  Take a lot of photos and by all means, go see the movie this weekend.  How well it does determines whether Paramount will put more money into future productions.  This is the most promising Star Trek development to happen in years...let's make it happen!

Just shoot me a link to yer pics via twitter (@jimlee00).  If you don't have a twitter account, just go to twitter.com and get onboard the cocktail chatter express.

Post your reviews of the movie here after it comes out.  I'm seeing it very early Friday morning in IMAX!  Am stoked!  In the meantime, Paramount has put up all 25 painted Enterprises finally and they can be seen at http://www.startrekmovie.com/modelgallery.

Enjoy!  I did...some amazing versions at the site!

there are some real bizarre designs on display there. I really like Daivid Rager's eco concept - totally mental! as is Will LemonIII's sweet suprise.
I'd love to see a spoof clip with a pink enterprise, posibly with Eddie Izzard as Kirk.

damn! I wish I lived in NYC. an 8 min sketch of spock is a wicked incentive.
