Lyrical Press Looking for Short Fiction*forwarded from Romance Divas*
If you have that Quick Read (15,000 - 20,000) or Short (20,001 - 35,000) you'd like to submit, go on ahead and send it to Emma, our Editor-In-Chief. She's dying for more work, because, seriously, it's not bad enough we work her nearly to death as it is. So, help us heap some more work on her. She likes it (at least that's what we tell ourselves).
Please send submissions to: submissions@lyricalpress.com or editor@lyricalpress.com
(Remember, we're open to all submissions 15,000 - 100,000+ in all genres!)

More Troubles for New Concepts PublishingAn author reported her publisher (New Concepts) took a contracted partial and published it in an anthology without her permission, using other authors to complete the unfinished story (in round robin fashion).

Ellora's Cave Planning Their First Convention in 2009I blogged in week or so ago about this, but for those who missed it, the post can be found
HERE. The convention will take place in the fall of 2009, will include a party, workshops, an award banquet and a book sale and will be hosted in Akron, Ohio. Ellora's Cave is asking for interested parties to contact them so they can get some idea of how many hotel rooms to reserve.
