We are finally done with the 05 season, ending up 4th in the NHRA Sport Compact race series.  Didn’t win but overall had a great year of drag racing.  Running a best quarter mile of 6.52 at 215 MPH, winning a couple of events and qualifying number one at 4 events.

 

I received the ‘Rookie of the year’ in the Formula Drift series.  What an honor to get voted that by the great people I compete with.  It has been a challenge this year learning a new type of driving style in a new series.  But with help from the other racers I’ve stepped up quicker than I and most others expected.  The thing I like most of the drifting is being able to apply your own style of driving.  It lets me be more creative.  Instead of always being rated by times and horsepower, you are judged on your ability to drive the car.

 

For the 2006 season AEM and I have decided to take a year off drag racing.  We will be concentrating on the Formula Drift series with me driving the AEM Honda S2000.  There are also roomers that we might have a two car team.  That is not decided yet.

 

2007 is not clear right now so nicely let me know what you think as the year goes on.

congrats man, that is an honor, its awesome to see how far you've gotten, we still remember seeing you in that plain yellow hatch, making a 9 sec pass, take care man and merry christmas, have an awesome 2006.

Man, kick some ass for us Honda owners out here.  All those lame ducks talkin' trash on Honda and how FR cars can't drift, then a FR Hatch with Falken drifts and then they say he's not really drifting, I guess their assumption is that you have to be RW to drift...anyways just so you know I have a poster of you on the back of my door and it says Win on the top right corner, so do what my poster says and Win.

Personaly I think you should head back to your roots.  Its becuase of you Shaun Carlson and Kenny Tran that I started racing.  Everyone except Jeremy Lookofsky has moved away from Honda and I really think the killer C32 Civic needs to come back and put all the posers where they belong! Please dont get em wrong drifting is cool but drag racing is where its at for me and my family.

Let me start off by saying happy new year.  Dude it would be nice to see you come back todrag racing. Maybe i'm wrong but it seems like the sport compact seen is dieing out. Each year that passes by a few more racers drop out of it. To support my opinion, the nopi circuit even allows domestic big block in the event. I really cant get a chance to see you drift live, only on t.v. I went to Wall in Jersey, but you had car problems so didnt get to see you race either lol. It would be nice to see you drag again. Either way best of luck to you...from your # 1 fan!!!!!!!
