Joe Glazer Tribute Concert
Friday, December 8
The Institute of Musical Traditions(IMT) and the Folk Lore Society of Greater Washington (FLSGW) will sponsor a Joe Glazer Tribute concert featuring Magpie; The U-Liners; Steve & Peter Jones, with Laurel Blaydes; and the DC Labor Chorus. The concert will be held at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church 10701 Old Georgetown Rd., Rockville, MD. $20 General Admission. Joe Glazer, Labor's Troubadour, passed away on Sept. 19. He was a giant in folk music and in the labor movement, and is already sorely missed. We will celebrate his life with song and stories!

U-Liners at Sangha Cafe
The U-Liners are excited to make a first time appearance at a very cool home-town venue -- Sangha Cafe in Takoma Park, MD, on Saturday, January 20, 2007; 8pm - midnight. Joe's birthday is January 21, so this will be a birthday celebration! Sangha is located at 7014 Westmoreland Ave. in the heart of old town Takoma Park -- a short walk from the Takokma Red Line Metro stop, adjacent to the Gazeba.
