I regret to inform everybody that our singer Barbara Matson, who has been in ICU for a week or so, has passed away this morning. Her birthday's coming in June... don't ask us how old she is... it's still a mystery to us.

She was making progress for awhile: moving her head, blinking, taking breaths in between the ventilator's but she wasn't doing too well last night.

RIP Barbara Matson -- you will be missed.

That would explain this endless rain we've been having the sky it's self is sad I see now. I'm sorry to hear that this happened. I hope everyone else will be ok like her family and you ladies in RDD. One question though is the funeral going to be private just family and close friends or open for whoever. I'm sorry if it's alittle early to be thinking or talking about this but we all have to remember death is also a part of life. While I myself am deeply sadden over this it's still the truth. :(

I wish peace and love upon all her family and friends. <3

PS: I knew how old she was, though wouldn't be very gentlemanly of me to tell anyone. ;)

We are deeply saddened by this turn of events.
RIP Barbie....you will be missed greatly.
The show must go on. We will still play in her honor at the French Quarter on the 30th with all of our proceeds going to her family.
Stay strong ladies.
