These are places where you would receive education,
well what about education about ghosts? These places are claimed
To be haunted...
Fairfield University Hauntings:
Apparently Lorraine Warren visited the university, and talked with students about there ghostly encounters. I myself have had a few, when my friend attended school there. Lorraine Warren was "drawn to" Dolan Hall, a dorm that used to be a nun-convent in the early 1900s. Lorraine believe that it is haunted by the ghost of a nun who used to live in the convent. the administration offices of Fairfield University, is rather tight lipped when it comes to the hauntings. They don't like to permote or talk about it. The funny thing is that students are very interested in the stories, and the tales.
Some Brief History:
Fairfield was established in 1942. 1950 First graduate classes in education were held on a coeducation basis. 1970 Women were admitted to all undergraduate programs.
A recent drunk driving accident claimed the life of one-on Wednesday April 23, 2003."The accident" involved two vehicles. The driver who caused the accident was operating under the influence of alcohol. A passenger in one of the vehicles was 'killed' in the accident and several others injured.
Most haunted parts of Fairfield University-
1. Dolan Hall- Students have heard what sounds like furnature being moved around. Apparently, there is a story of a nun who died there. Because of the sensitive nature, the story is unclear, but a priest may have been involoved. Weather the nun- became preganant by this priest, and commited suicide? I am uncertain. That is the story however. Certian rooms, in the dorms have the most activity, but for the privacy purposes I will not say which ones.
2. PepsiCo Theater- Is rummored to be haunted, by a woman who used to be a costume designer. Students have heard voices, and noises in the theater when no one else was there. The lights for the stage have been known to go out by themselves, cold spots have been felt. ________________________________________________________________________________
ALBERTUS MAGNUS COLLEGE- The catholic college was established in 1924. It was founded by the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary of the Springs, Albertus Magnus College educates men and women to become leaders in all walks of life. The College is committed to providing a liberal arts education rooted in the Dominican tradition of scholarship
Almost every dorm, or building is said to be haunted at this old school. Apparently the school is made up of mansions that were converted into dorms, and classrooms.
McAuliffee Hall- Said to be haunted by a woman in a green dress, and a small boy that looks to be about 8-10yrs old. The boy they say was accidently locked in an attic and he died. It seems he is a playful spirit and is looking for a fellow playmate. It is uncertain if the apparition of the woman in green is his mother. People have been shoved/pushed while on the front staircase. People have heard singing at 10PM every night, then it would stop for a while and start up again every night.
ROSARY HALL- Students and facuilty have repored what they feel is an evil presence. Some times it is freezing in certian spots, and there have been loud bangs. Peoples names have been called outloud, and then no one is there. There is also a very old antique elevator that is out of service, some have heard voices, humming and or other sounds coming from the shaft.
Dominican Hall- This is in just about the center of the campus. It is claimed to be a former mental institution run by doctors from yale (I have found no proof of this as of yet, so bear in mind this is the "tale" ) It is said that the ghost of the little boy resides alot in Dominican Hall. Seen and Heard: knocking on the walls, objects have been moved around, banging, doors slamming, lights going on and off, windows being open and shut, feelings of saddness, and the feeling of being watched.

Bridgeport- Warren Harding School. Built in 1924, the doors opened in 1925. The complex was named after Ralph Hedges, the first principal of Warren Harding H. S.
SEEN AND HEARD: Some have seen the ghost of an older man running up and down the halls screaming (un-soundly) The story goes, that a student killed one of the janitors, after he murdered the janitor he disappeared and was never seen again. Some say they both haunt the school, sometimes it is said that you can hear a mans voice in different parts of the school, pleading for his life. _______________________________________________________________
Danbury Western Connecticut State University- Founded in 1903, First named the Danbury Normal School, in the 1950s it was called the Danbury State Teachers College. It was renamed as Danbury State College in 1959. then Western Connecticut State College in 1967, and finally, in 1983, Western Connecticut State University.
SEEN AND HEARD:
1. Berkshire theater- Claimed haunted, by a ghost that they call Daphne. Students have seen her image in the projection booth, and on the stage itself. She is said to be a friendly spirit, that will appear to no more than 2 people at a time.
2. Fairfield Hall- The 3rd floor is said to be haunted by a girl who commited suicide in the tower. She has been seen thru windows, and in mirrors, she is said to turn on the showers, and water, lights, t.v's on and off. Screams have been heard numerous times, and she apparently is photogenic, cuz she has showed up in pictures.

Moses Y. Beach elementry school- WALLINGFORD
SEEN AND HEARD-FAMOUS- There is an old picture you can see on CreepyConnecticut, of a ghost on the roof top of the school. People who live around the school claim they have seen lights on in the school late at night and heard music coming from inside when no one is there. It is rummored that police have gone to check it out and they too heard the music. But when they actually went in the school the music stopped. Rumor has it that at a school dance there was a storm in 1878, destroyed part of the roof, and it fell on a young lady. Other story that has more boundry says that a child fell from the roof. (which is really wierd considering the picture i mentioned earlier) Lights have been turned on and off as well as computers, water being turned on an off, drawers opening and closing.
Currently I am working on finding some history about this school.
