Cruise Into Jeopardy
Emily Wade-Reid
Fiction - m/f - romantic suspense - Interracial

At fifty-two, Raven LaCroste's thirty-year monogamous relationship ends with the death of her husband.  Raven reverts to the celibacy of her youth until she learns her writing group is sponsoring a cruise.  Considering cruises to be prime playgrounds for the sexually hopeful, she signs up.  First night at sea, she encounters Jamal Whitaker, the perfect choice for test-driving her rekindled sexuality, but their night together ends abruptly, and an acrimonious quarrel ensues.  Next morning, there is an attempt on her life.  Hours later, there is a second attempt.  No longer an exercise in sexual exploration, for Raven, the cruise has become a workout in survival skills.  Her distrust of the regular members in her group has her confiding in the new member, Anthony Corbett.  A criminal law attorney with a background in law enforcement, she enlists Anthony’s help, unaware he has his own agenda for coming to her aid.

coterminous

Looking for a nifty adjective to characterize equality of extent, scope, or duration? We thought so! Here's coterminous, a pretty near synonym of coextensive but with a more high-flown flavor. You get an inkling of the relation with terminus, Latin for "boundary," so the essential idea is "having the same boundary."
