Yea, I haven't logged onto this site in like 3 months. So what? I was nursing the hurt from the Sabs completely flaming out this past season. That, and I was lazy.

So, I now resolve to be much, much better about keeping the group up to date on various gatherings around the NYC area. I think this year the national pundits are counting out the Sabs but I have faith that if they have a good October and November, they will be in a great position to get a 4/5 slot come playoff time.

Its also a good time to be a Gotham Sabres fan. I don't know if you have checked Stubhub prices recently but for some Buffalo home games, the tickets are going for $100 and up in the 300 level! I just bought a few tix for the Devils game in November in the upper deck but at center ice for $36 bucks a pop. Being here does have its advantages.

As does the number of bars that will show Sabres games. As my bulletin stated, we are going to make a stand at Kelly's this year on Avenue A. There is also the tried and true Blue Moon on the upper east side and Kinsales more uptown. In any event, NYC has your Sabres covered and we hope to organize some trips to games and viewing parties at these bars over the next 6 months.

Its good to be back, I will be back more regularly and keep rooting for those Sabs!
