The 10th Avenue Theatre is the current location for Sledgehammer Theatre and many other local theatre companies.  

The theatre is located on 10th Ave., 1/2 block west of Broadway.  It use to be a church, but you can’t really tell by looking at it from the street. 

Parking in the area can be tricky.   There is street parking; remember the meters are free after 6pm and on Sundays.  You can park in the yellow after 6pm.  There is a $2.00 parking lot located at 11th and B Streets across from the Burger King/Del Taco; it accepts plastic.  There is a $3.00 parking lot at 11th and Broadway, you will need cash. 

Parking on nights there is a Padre Game is even trickier!!  That’s when that $2.00 lot comes in really handy.

The theatre is COLD, if it’s cold outside, it will be cold in the theatre and if it’s HOT outside, it will be hot in the theatre. 

It’s an old building, but we love it!!
