Uncle Lefty is sad to report that two Sundays ago during The Reverend Horton Heat's set at The House Of Blues in Boston. Uncle Lefty guitarist "Slingblade" Karl Lawson suffered a broken leg in what my mother refers to as the "Mash pit". The leg was broken in two places and several tendons were torn in karl's leg and ankle. leaving the Blade bed ridden for the forseeable future. We all wish Karl the best and a speedy recovery and ask that he ration his painkiller supply so as to share with his bandmates.  In the interim, Team Lefty has placed Lawson on the 60 day disabled list retroactive to September 6th and has had to pull itself from Next weeks scheduled perfomance @ Great Scott in Allston, MA with Humans Being and We Met Aliens. The show will still go on without us and all should go and rock out. We are sorry to disappoint anyone who was counting on us. It's an unfortunate situation. Real life rears it's ugly mug on occasion. We hope you understand. We'll be back shortly. Karl get well ya bastard! - AVZ
