when a five year old has a piece of cake he is overjoyed. he knows that this cake will eventually be gone and yet when the cake is gone and he cant have anymore he cries about it. no one can console him. he already knew when he started eating that the cake was going to go away.

Just be happy you had the cake when you had it. Yes, cake tastes great and you always want more when it's gone but cake comes and goes. One day another cake will bake its way to your plate. They always do.
