Quick update for those who know and those who don't. My father Bobby Blue Bland is currently in the hospital. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure on Tuesday of this week. It's been an emotional time for my family & I and on behalf of my family thank you to those who have sent their prayers and their love. For the time being all shows have been cancelled. I may update this blog with more info & various random thoughts. Until then, be well be there for your family & friends even if they are not there for you.  Life is  precious & short, so surround yourself with love & loving people.

I'm so sorry to hear that your father is not well. Remember that for every life there is a plan, and of every seemingly dark phase, there is another coming equally as bright as this one is dark, even though it's hard for you to believe right now, it IS TRUE.

Please let me know if there is anything that I can do. (I mean that, even though I'm miles away...don't know what that could possibly be, but as a friend I have to say that). :o)

It's times like these that remind us how precious life really is. You and your family are in my heart and in my prayers, and everything will work out exactly as it should.
