Halloween falls on hump day this year and we intend to be doing a lot of humpin (and bumpin and grindin) at the Anza Club this Wednesday October 31st. Opening the set is the very busy reincarnation of the Ramones, The Ramores, who if you listen to em right, sometimes even sound a bit like The Jolts.
You may get to see The Ramores again, but the headliner is definitely a one time only event. Gathered together in a mutual appreciation of gothabilly legends the Cramps, and otherwise shunned by polite society, Billy Hopeless of the Black Halos, Jerry-Genn Wilson of JP5 fame and Doug Donut of Death Sentence (and a couple others even) with Mysterioso on bass have formed Bad People, a living breathing doppelganger of the Cramps for your aural and visual delectation. Remember, boils and ghouls, this is a one off. Bad People will be back in the crypt by daylight, never to be seen or heard again.
Cause its a school night, things will finish up early. Doors at 8, Ramores at 10, Bad People at 11:30. So everything as billed will be over just past midnight, though for those who don't have to get up Thursday morning, there may be more monkeyshines after. Cover 8 bux. Bring yer drinkin boots.
