Who Gives Kudos:

November 8, 2009 - Sunday

Category: Pets and Animals
Hey Y'all,

So we're excited as mother fuckers around here.  November will see PLEASE TAKE YOUR CASH reviews in the big UK mainstream rock mags.  We've just seen the legendary Malcome Dome's review from Classic Rock (the largest monthly UK rock rag, btw) and if we weren't such ego-maniacs, we'd be embarrassed!

Here's a sampling:

"Wildhearts meets the Beach Boys on a mini-masterpiece of Bubblegum Pop."-Classic Rock
“A future classic!”-Alice Cooper, Nights With Alice Cooper
“One of the Best Albums of 2009. ”-Alt Sounds.com

“Bubblegum laced with spiders eggs”-Spin

“The Wildhearts twisted and tweaked into the soundtrack you might get in a sweet shop run by Dr Frank N Furter.”-Classic Rock.com

“A stunning slab of pop rock brilliance…”-Screaming Tarts

“Slabs of pure rock gold”-Sphere

“This album could save the world.”-Duxbury Reporter

We totally encourage you to go the the various websites, fanzines and magazines to check out the full reviews.  Yea, we are bragging.

We notice the re occurrence of four words alot: "slab," "Classic," "bubblegum" and "The Wildhearts."  We're cool with all four to be honest.

If you haven't ordered PTYC yet, click HERE for a direct link to buy it.  We'll sign any copies you want, of course and again, this album is ONLY available right from us and NO WHERE else!

You guys have been too willing to be part of our self-releasing experiment and I'm proud to say we're almost at our fourth run of the LP.  We're proving you don't need a big machine around you to excite a rock n roll starved audience, you need a good fuckin' LP with great songs that gives a shit about it's artistic worth and not just it's commercial non-value. Since what we're doing seems to be resonating with people, record companies have started to take an interest (!?!?!), which is way too ironic to even think about.  You know, "White Devil Music," "self-release," "fuck the middlemen just release it yourself personally to anyone who you can show your album is awesome."  But still, if the right one comes along, who knows?

We're beginning to assemble a new touring line up as well with (as usual) only the best, beautiful and most bombastic rock stars we can find to put you on edge and blow your minds.  Hopefully, skin willing, we look to debut the new AntiProduct show in early 2010.

In the meantime, we'd like to share this video with you HERE.  From the most recent Marky Ramones Blitzkrieg show (Clare and Alex play with legendary Ramones drummer Marky as well-Ed.), this is our hotel room after checking in at 6:00 pm, sound-check, show and back to the room at 12:30 am.  Freakin' pigs, us.

If you're in Orlando, come and see The Blitzkrieg play on Nov 13 at AntiPop in Orlando Florida.

Turn it the fuck up!!!!

I saw in the upcoming Guitar World that EVH (whom I consider a hero) complaining about recording cost and the present recording industry climate. Granted, his circumstances are different and he doesn't need to deal with the leg-work you guys are willing to do. However, the fact that you guys are busting ass to get this "slab" out there is mega-commendable and should be the business model for ALL musicians going forward. Screw the labels and the distributors. Make music for the love of it and get it out there to be heard by any means possible.
You guys Rock!
