It's about time that me, a pisces, got it together to go swimming with fish!! I spent this morning snorkeling in Kona  at the local beach just down the street from where we are staying, and I must say, I can't believe I waited so many years to do something so incredible as this!

I guess that life is ever evolving though.  Encountering all the colofrul and beautiful fish I saw this morning, was probably one of the most inspriting things I have ever done.  I always thought it would be too scary, but it was only like 15 minutes until I was completely relaxed and one with it all. 

Tonight we are going to a jam session at the local shopping mall.  Steel guitarists and ukele players from the town get together once a week.  Should be fun.  We just happened to meet run in to an increible duo of guitar and ukelele makers yesterday, while cruising through some art galleries in the coffee plantation areas of Kona.  I guess it was no accident!  So we got an invitaiton to come and watch the locals play music tonight.  Should be fun.

Last night after dinner, we went to the ocean front at one of the big hotels and the Manta Ray's were out doing summersaults for us.  What a show.  Who needs seaworld?

This trip to Kona might just be one of the best birthday presents I have ever had.  I should also say that being away from the day to day routines of home and studio feels great too.. I am in no hurry to get
back to it.
