September 3, 2009 - Thursday 3:18 AM
This video was made in the Antwerp , Belgium Central (Train) Station on the 23rd of March 2009.
. . . with no warning to the passengers passing through the station at 08:00 am a recording of Julie Andrews singing 'Do, Re, Mi' begins to play on the public address system.

As the bemused passengers watch in amazement, some 200 dancers begin to appear from the crowd and station entrances.

They created this amazing stunt with just two rehearsals!

Enjoy!

If it made one person smile, especially in Belgium, it was worth all the work!

It made me smile! In fact, I got this amazing pocket of joy in my throat that kept jumping up and down...

Yes!  this is awesome.  After seeing the movie SLUMDOG MILLIONNAIRE it was pointed out to me that all movies made in India by Indian film makers conclude with a group dance and sing-a-long.  What a great tradition.  And so it grows to other cultures as well.  Nice pick-me-up.  And even at 8 a.m. (Sister Rain makes her movies with ALL dance and sing-a-longs, not just the ending, as you know ... loved her last one.)
