Just leaving calgary, headed to edmonton. Kelli and joe and kelli's dad and I have rented a car, so we're listening to johnny cash and talking about sturgeon. When I was 8 years old I was obsessed with sturgeon, and the fact that they were seemingly unchanged since the ye olden dinosaur times. And ceolocanths. Even though I don't remember how to spell ceolocanths. In general I think its pretty amazing that there are creatures who have been hanging around unchanged for 500 million years (or 6,000 years if you're a creationist).

Alligators, sturgeon, sharks, dragonflies, etc. And they all live in the us and a. Especially the alligators. 2 million wild alligators in florida and louissianna, eating dogs and golfers. I'm a bit alligator obsessed. America is the land of impending disaster. What other country routinely deals with: hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, 3 million alligators, lyme disease ridden ticks, lethal heat in the summer, lethal cold in the winter, poisonous snakes, and mudslides and fires? No wonder we're all insane.

To wit: I think there's a song on the radio called 'ragin' cajun'. And it looks like its starting to snow.

Yep bloke, Mobster I do think your insane and what is your obsession with all the homeliest looking women? All your band mates are homely or what is the name again of that troll dweller friend of yours that looks like she needs a makeover and lesson in styhle. That Kelli that sings for you looks like a bag lady we have at the local dairy over here. The singer lady you have that you claim is a famous nude dancer in NYC that sings one of your songs on your last album, she should be wearing a witches hat. I'm not saying this to be unkindly, only to say that your taste in woman is not so lovely. Rachelle is far too glamorous for the likes of you, but anyway to the point of your blog here. You do know that all of those things you mentioned are in other countries too, not just the USA right?

Everyone has their own taste in whatt good looking is. Obviously Rachelle has bad taste too. I mean she is obsessed with Moby. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I'm just saying that I don't think his choice is beautiful. He's the insane one for not being attracted to Rachelle.

What did you do to Rachelle Moby? Did you finally have the decency to tell her you aren't interested? Is that why she isn't coming near your page anymore? It feels so strange not seeing Rachelle's messages posted all over your page. I've seen it for so long it became so common place.

I miss Rachelle's comments only because I miss her, not the comments themselves, but Moby didn't deserve them. He never cared about Rachelle. I mean watch his frequency of activity posting. He isn't missing her. If he was he would tell her or he would be feeling down and like the crumby person he has been to him for hurting her feelings and he wouldn't be posting so much. If you all haven't checked to notice Rachelle hasn't come onto myspace or posted on Twitter since Thursday and Friday of last week. I've never seen her miss a day on the internet. Something is wrong and I can only take a guess that it is because she finally knows th truth about Moby having zero feelings for her. I feel sorry for her, but I'm also estatic that she is finally coming to terms that he doesn't love her and there isn't a Moby and Rachelle.

I also miss Rachelle's comments. They were so thoughtful. I think many of you on here are the reason for her not posting. You can be so disrepectful to her.

Moby, you speak so much about things that point my intuitive mind in the direction that you are speaking of those things because you are thinking of Rachelle. I already told you what my intuition felt before and I still standby those feelings.

Be careful or Rachelle will take your posts literally and she will start her obsessive behavior again and never move on in her life. If Moby wanted her he would have made a move by now. Rachelle has been trying to get him for what is it two years now? She needs to face the truth that Moby is a celebrity and she is a peasant and it will never be.

It's just more exciting and enjoyable to have beauty to look at when at a concert. It is fine if you are just listening to the radio, but for concerts it is nice to see lookers. If there is nothing nice to look at you might as well buy the cd or listen to their music on the radio and forget about fighting crowds at a sweaty noisy concert.

yada yada yada.

fans aren't won AFTER tickets have been bought to shows like that. besides, when the band is made of peas ffrom the nose-bleed seats, who cares what they look like.
i personally HATE monster concerts. sweat crowds, or crowds at all. gimme a $10 show at a club or a Manhattan library and i'm in heaven. and if the music's good, i'm probably gonna close my eyes and listen anyway.

that said, and subject conveniently changed, when i've seen women performing with moby, they ARE quite toasty! moby's probably having a good chuckle about all of this because they're always quite very much attractive. you'd be dripping in your pants if you were a few feet away from a stage with Laura Dawn on it and that's not just because of the way she looks. (sorry for that visual, Laura.) she's the sexiest woman i've seen on a stage since... maybe ever.
hey, wait, moby does surround himself with "attractive" sexy women, so WTF are we arguing about, anyway! (i haven't looked at his current line-up since this thread started, but i'm guessing it's you that's missing something.)

problem is, your comment offends some extremely talented musicians/singers. if there's a critique of moby in there, it's lost.
even more, it shows a lack of depth in the writer. and a really poor understanding of music. if there's a girl in the band, she's gotta be on-fire hot? WTF kind of logic (or musical sense) is that?

I'm just saying that i need something special to look at or I would rather save my money and stay away from the noisy obnoxious crowds at a concert. I actually prefer watching concerts on the tele or on video. It's far more enjoyable than going to a concert where people scream and sweat all over you and you usually don't have a good view of the musician's anyway or if you do the music is far too loud where you are at to enjoy it.

(forgive me, i'm home sick with a migraine and the start of a painful headcold. the pain is poring into the keyboard. and those pointy toes are just so fucking girly. and that stance... in front of a chlorinated pool... who is this guy?)

clearly there's something wrong with me. i'm bickering with strangers on some slightly obscure myspace blog.

honestly, my "type" has little or nothing to do with looks. sure, there are things that i think 'look' good on guys. but if the being behind the looks doesn't do it for me, there's no attraction. and arrogance, or even being hug up on one's looks or the looks of their things (like cars) is extremely unattractive to me.
it's far more common with women to find a guy attractive because she likes the guy, not the physical features. ThEN, she finds his looks attractive.

this whole falling in love with people that you see on the internet is really wacky to me.

Falling in love with a person on the internet can happen because it is clearly plain to see that most people talk about more than they would dare to talk about in person when the first meet a person. If you and I walked past eachother everyday when we were on our way to work we would probably just say hello or maybe nothing at all. Or how are you? but would we really say as much as we say online? Usually and in all probability not, so yes it is easy to feel something for a person that is more open about things.

It's not like Moby is Mr. Glamour himself. He could be categorized in a more homely status quo, but because he is a famous musician he is cool and everyone looks past the fact that his looks don't really have much to offer the eye moreso than any other bald, old, skinny and poorly shaven bloke that could be found anywhere. Moby would agree. He has said himself in the past that he doesn't think he is good looking.

You have bad taste and he is only being modest when he says he is not good looking and if he truly means that then I hope and pray that he will realize how beautiful he is and that he ignores such heartless and cruel messages such as yours!!!!!!!!!!!!! Moby has enough money to buy a wig or get a hair transplant. He doesn't have to be bald and what I meant is older, not old. Of course we all age, but Moby doesn't try to look younger. He's let himself go. He doesn't try at all when he dresses. If I had the money he has I would be stylein it up.

Wigs don't look good on guys. Yuck. and another thing you must not know people with money becuase I've found more of the people with loads of money don't give a shit what they wear. You cannot always guess who has the money buy looking at how somebody dresses, because a lot of the times the best dressed people have the least money, but they take more pride in their looks.
