Here's something that spilled out of me today on my flight to Nashville -

Life begins when you're born
Life begins when you die
There's nothing you can take
Nothing you can have
So why the misery?
We pull ourselves across the broken glass of embellished dreams
Painted with strokes of ambitious minds
Crawling for the next stair in the never ending case
I want more.
But am I victim of this mind set in inverse or am I now awake?
Vividly dreaming in reality
Seeing the true colours of what stands
A witness to a slumber that hangs overhead
Maybe I'm supposed to shout?
Ring the proverbial bell that dinner is ready?
Sadly the feeding has already begun
I know there is more to this
Because Life begins when you're born
And Life begins when you die.

Adam von Auler

quite good. really like the poetry. especially the line in the last stanza "A witness to a slumber that hangs overhead". oh how time begets indifference in cheerful disobedience! top job mate. let's write some more.
