Probably not. But this article....

Dear Pixar

....asks Pixar to make a movie with a girl in the lead role who's not a princess. I had not noticed that they had not but looking over their output they are guilty of not putting women or girls in the lead. The closest is The Incredibles and even then they are more sidekicks.

Here's an interesting thought regarding The Incredibles marketing. How many of you went to Wal-Mart and bought a Violet or Elasti-girl action figure? No one? Well that's because those were "Disney Store Exclusives". The Disney store here in Houston closed down about a year or so before The Incredibles came out.

The marketing of almost every movie is geared towards boys, but Disney especially. Unless it's a princess.  Dorie from "Finding Nemo" might be the exception. So I agree with the article. Where are the girls?
