I'm just again reminded that my "friends" here don't share my interests. There was a time when I had friends who wanted to play music and go to shows and I was held back by living away from those people. I was a kid, what could I do?

Now I am of an age I should be enjoying my life...and yet it only seems to have gotten worse. This is then compounded by "friends" who act as though I should get down on my knees and thank whatever being is out there that I get to go to Half-Price Books or to see some movie...and I do enjoy those things...but wouldn't some interest in my interests be appropriate?

I helped when you needed a place to stay. A place to have your mail sent. I do the chores and work to make sure you're ok....can't you say "Hey, you like Demi Lovato, right? Wanna go see her?" or "Yea, Letters To Cleo...only one of your five favorite bands that you have never seen that you might still have a chance at...we should go!" Especially since I offered to pay for every single thing and all you had to do was provide the truck and drive...

When I say, many times, I need a metronome...man I'd like to go to the guitar shop, man I'd like to do this or that....can't you take a day and do it with me since I've tried to do so much for you?

I give and give and give....and my one time I've been out of this apartment all month was to go to Petco to buy flea treatment for a dog I shouldn't have to take responsibility for. What little money I had went to that. Now when I ask you to pick something up at the store you'll count that as being a good friend and while that's good and all, it'll be at your absolute convenience.

That's kind of it. The people here...everyone here...if it doesn't suit their convenience 100%...and put them out absolutely nothing....they won't do for a friend.

After the worst year of my life (and I mean that in absolute sincerity), I deserve better friends than this. No wonder I'm so freakin' depressed....oh and the Def Leppard thing on VH1 sucked. Two freakin' songs? Really VH1???? Ugh...
