**PLATOON UPDATES**
We have so many promos and things going on right now that we have broken you guys up into teams so you only have to focus on two goals. There is a contest going on for the platoon that is the most successful in their tasks, so make sure you get involved, and your whole team will be rewarded!
Another e-mail was sent out today regarding the assigned platoons. If you did not receive this e-mail, check your spam folder, and add Lorrin@adelinerecords.net and Katie@adelinerecords.net to you address books in your e-mail provider to ensure that it will not be blocked.
If you still don't see the email, send us a message so we can verify your address and get it out to you.
So far you guys have been doing an amazing job! Message boards are flooded, one of the radio stations has The Living End's song in the top 10 requested songs, VH1.com will be adding the video to the voting list, and the video is still at number one on MTVU.com.

**VH1.COM UPDATE**
You might have noticed that the voting over at VH1.com has been temporarily suspended for the Holidays and will be resuming at the end of the month. If you currently have a banner up, or if this was part of your platoon assignment, we have a new playlist created with a new banner that you can update with during the blackout.
It's just as important to get plays on this video, so let it loop just like we did with the MTVU.com.
**NEW CONTEST**
The Holiday give-back contest
With the holidays upon us, everyone's running around buying presents, gift-wrapping sweaters, eating too much turkey (or tofurkey!), and asking Santa for some sweet new Adeline merch (riiight?). The season is all about giving, and we want to know what you're doing (or have done anytime this year) to give back.
What does this mean? Presents aren't just bought from the mall. We want to know what you've done to give back to your community, to a stranger, or to your family and friends. We're talking volunteering, fund-raising, a helping hand, giving something to someone who really needed it.
Send us a short essay (200 words or less) telling us about what you've done. Include up to 3 pics if you have them. The deadline for this will be 12/22/2006 so if you haven't done anything yet, this is your chance to get out and do something positive in your area.
And yes, we will pick one winner to feature on our myspace page.
**MOVIN' UP IN THE RANKS!**
Congrats to our army members who have moved up this week! Julie K. and Chelsea K. have both moved up to the rank of Private First Class. Rock on!
To move up to the next rank, you have to accumulate 25 ranking points by promoting Adeline Records and the bands. Check out below to see how you can earn points. By moving up you become eligible for exclusive contests, goodies, and can start running your own Adeline Army team!
**ADELINE ARMY RANKING POINTS**
Want to move up in the ranks, win cooler prizes, get more responsibilities and be eligible to run your own Adeline Team? That's what our ranking points system is for! The more you promote, the higher you'll be ranked! Here's how you can earn points this week:
-3 points for having an Adeline Army banner on your page (these are one-time only points, if you already received them, you can not submit it again)
-5 points for a day of promoting (passing out fliers/putting up posters) This requires pictures
-1 point per recruit who lists you as their referral (check out the "Copy and Repost" blog for an easy bulletin you can copy and paste)
-1 point for having The Living End's "Wake Up" video on your page (myspace.com/thelivingend click on videos for code) one-time only
-1 point for having The Living End's "Wake Up" as your default myspace page song (myspace.com/thelivingend) one time only
-1 point for starting a topic on the FUSE message board
Go to fuse.tv and let them know what ya think! Post a topic in the community section, requesting the video, declaring your undying love for TLE, how much TLE rocks your socks, anything you wanna say that's gonna show FUSE how much you guys wanna keep seeing the video.
Please note…. Anytime we ask you to "attack" a message board, it's better to comment on another person's post if there is one started than to create numerous new threads.
-1 point for a comment posted on the Steven's Untitled Rock Show myspace page (Send us a message as soon as your comment is approved to get your point)
TO REDEEM YOUR POINTS: send us a message with your full name, what you did to earn the points, and any pics or links that are required.
TO CHECK YOUR POINT STANDING: send us a message asking for a "point balance" and make sure to include your full name
