first of all, i want to say kt, i'm sorry, i know this is your story, but i'm gonna have to tell it because it's too good (if you feel the need to sue me in a court of law, i will understand)
this is kt's story, the events portrayed in this blog are real events. the names have not been changed to protect the innocent.
kt has a job that requires her to travel periodically, specifically flying. kt flies delta almost exclusively, in fact she hasn't flown on another airline for a couple of years, but on this trip to texas, she booked a flight on another airline... the price was good and it's just a flight and really, as long as you're not booking on a crop duster, how much difference is there really which carrier you use?
everybody boarded, found their seats in the mild confusion, and the luggage was stowed.  as the passengers, including one katie bitner, get ready for take off, the speaker from the cock pit clicks on and instead of the comforting bland "this is your captain speaking", a harmonica starts the blues riff from "bad to the bone" (if you aren't familiar with this song, you should look it up for the full effect). ba bah ba bah ba.... i'm gonna be your captain.... ba bah ba bah ba... so you better fasten your seatbelt... turns out the self proclaimed blues man in the front of the plane, singing a whole verse and chorus of a song george thorogood  never intended, was the navigator, the captain, identifying himself as captain "mad dog" williams. kt says everyone in the plane snapped their heads up and looked at each other with the shock that occurs with a quick slap to the face. searching the faces of the stewardesses, it seemed this was not out of the ordinary. kt tried to write down the lyrics he made up and record some of it , once she got a fix on what was happenning that is, on her cell phone. i'm sure she would be glad to share it with you if you are really interested, just drop her a line.
