The Offices of Women’s Health in the federal government agencies are operating on shaky ground. At any moment, their funding could be cut or they could be forced to close their doors.

The Society for Women’s Health Research is working with Congress to see that this does not happen and women’s health remains a top priority. A bill called the Women’s Health Office Act (WHOA) was reintroduced in the House of Representatives on July 16, 2009. If made law WHOA would protect the offices and provide them with statutory authorization – meaning there would be fixed, permanent funding for the Offices of Women’s Health.

Please help the Society to pass the WHOA bill.  Click on the link below to send a letter of support to your Representative.

Thank you for your help. I encourage you to send this email along to other friends and family members who want care about women's health.
