I would have to say, this has been the worst year of my life. Problems always seem bad as it happens, but honestly, I feel this year at the very minimum, would hold up to match any of the previous bad years.  I don't believe it's a midlife crisis either. Just an enormous amount of things have gone wrong this year.  Yeah, it's probably worse for some other people, and in general I think it's probably a bad year for most people in general(fuel prices were extraordinary high before, stock market tanked, flooding in Hawaii, job market awful with lotsa layoffs).  Not going to name very much specific stuff here.  But it's pretty bad.  Even as the year is coming to a close, things don't look very promising right now.
Anyways, going to celebrate the end of the bad year with a trip to Vegas.  I actually have some extra rooms during New Years that's too late to cancel without paying a fee, so if anybody's interested, just let me know.  The extra rooms are downtown(Main Street, and Fitzgerald).  Hopefully next year is better.
