oh yeah,
we just found out that don joyce/wobbly (considering he edited it) used parts of our album, "GITAR" in this performance...
no credit for us...
pretty lame actually.
we sent negativland our album 2 months before this performance.
it's gone to good use i see.
segments of our audio collages are used under don talking in at least 5 of the tracks.
not to mention that segments were used outright and not altered whatsoever.
(track 15 "spirit animals" uses at least 4 Gitar songs through the whole track)

sorry to post this in your comments because i'm sure you didn't know.
we were just surprised to see our "demo" cd being used in a performance and not getting any credit for it.

responded to the post left on my page, but to sum up -- no we didn't know, and I apologize for any slight. most of the cutups are our own, but your demo was in one of Don's decks and was frequently dropped in over the course of the three hour radio show. bits were left in the edit because I thought they were Don's, and because they were catchy. I'll be updating the download page (i.e. what passes for liner notes these days) tonight

don mixes 40+ episodes of OTE a year and plays a lot of what he gets sent, when he likes it -- understandable for a three hour improv show, but as we've taken the step of highlighting this a bit further, credit is due & thanks for writing
