It is now 2008 and a new year begins for Fusion Family your favorite band (we hope!)
With that in mind we thought you might like to know what so far we have planned for the year!

COLLEGE GIGS

I.A.D.T.

This year we have been booked to play @ The Dun Laoighre College of Art ''Rag Week'' (Thursday Febuary 28th, they have also discussed a few other late year events they would like us to play at.We will be playing at Rag Week with our ''Brass Section'' so expect a BIG SOUND!!!!
The gig will be fimed by I.A.D.T.s very own ''Buckled Cranium Productions'' (Luke Leslie)
And the Sound will be recorded to make a Live D.V.D.......Dress well for the Video,
just kidin!


U.C.D.

We have also been booked for gigs in U.C.D. and we have been asked to take part in Their Battle Of The Bands, but we aint sure if date suits yet.
Anyway we are just lookin forward to playing the college circuit, always a good buzz.



FESTIVALS

KnockanStock Festival Wicklow (Three day camping festival by Blessington Lake)
Saturday July 26th

We have been booked to play at the ''Knochanstock festival'' by the beautifull blessington lake.
This sees the festival in its second year after last years success after 1000 of Festival goers set up camp by the lake.We have been told will have the headline for the saturday!!!!! happy days.
Three day camping over 50 Irish acts and loads of D.J.s tickets 25 euro.

Life Festival 08 (Loch Cultra Castle Galway) July 4th

Their is also talks about us playing at the ''Life-Festival'' 08 Down in Gallway in Loch Cultra Castle.This will be a three day camping festival with three Large stages, dance tents etc.
Tickets are 90 euro + Booking fee.




RECORDING & RELEASING, An E.P. and maybe an Album.

Over the next few months we are putting the finishing touches on two songs ''Down by the garden (Fusion Family 07) and a new track ''Creep & Crawl''(Fusion Family 08).
These songs are already in the early stages of production and with the next few sessions we plan to complete these to broadcasting qualtiy.
We have also had an offer to record an album within the next year with financial backing and for it to be distributed!
But as a band as we ALL feel we are just finding ''our sound'' we must wait until we feel ready to take part in such an under-taking!... so for now we must hold off on the offer.
We also plan to release an E.P. on the irish market closer to summer.
Which will represent the NEW FUSION FAMILY SOUND.

As allways we will be playing all over Dublin and their will be loads more stuff going on as the year unfolds.We will keep you posted.
