I think it's the notion that every asinine opinion is worthy of merit and middle class guilt about the oppression of working class ambition by Thatcher's suppression of the unions.
Hard work, and being seen to contribute to the betterment of society by contribution, have been replaced with individual respect for self and moaning about Brussels (hence foreigners).
England is a nation of foreigners our national symbol is a Sax - Coberg this hypocrisy needs to be addressed.
Just started the book, North Sea Oil funded those tax cuts we could not afford we froze our arses off for Thatcher and her cronies to invest in over inflated markets and we're still paying for those tossers in the city.
