Category: Music
HAPPY WEEKEND!!!!!

Check it out -- I invite all musicians of rock and metal to send me their music.  Period, no invitation needed.  When I receive a friend request I DO briefly listen to the music of that artist before sending my intro letter, but brief as that listen is I DO listen.  I don't send the intro letter if I don't think the music won't fit into either Deli.  REGARDLESS (nonetheless), feel free to send me your music without waiting for the invitation!!!

Here is how I like music submitted:

CD -- of COURSE I like your CDs!!!  Those get preferential play because I realize and appreciate the time and expense put into sending them.  Not to mention I LOVELOVELOVE when bands send me pics -- they go right up on my bulletin board in the studio.  Bands with pics get SPECIAL preferential play because they're right in front of my face and VERY hard to forget.       Even better, send me a t-shirt.  Musicians that send me a t-shirt get preferential play AND a pic of me wearing the t-shirt AND the knowledge that I'm occasionally sleeping with the band....  band's t-shirt, that is.  ; )

MP3s -- if you can't send a CD (and I understand it's not always possible) send an MP3.  Send at LEAST two, if possible.  Send more.  Include your band name and website in EACH email you send as well as the name of the song.  The more info you send the better.  Blank emails with songs attached that download as "Track 1" -- REALLY not high on my happy list.

THAT is how I like music submitted.  CD or MP3.

Here are other ways people submit music:  wma, rar and download links.  Notice that NONE of those are listed on my "how I like music submitted" list.  I still accept it but I GUARANTEE music sent that way will take longer to get played.

As for the PCP and LSD, I only added those to see if you were truly paying attention.  Don't send either.  However, if you are in Chicago, I highly suggest you take LSD.  Go south.  Trust me on that one.  At sunrise, even better.

SO CHECK IT OUT:
THE METAL DELI #46 aired today!  I was C H A T T Y, if I do say so myself!  And I do!  It came out of nowhere!  Tom from Black Dawn (www.myspace.com/blackdawnband) had bought a Metal Deli shirt and said he would wear it at their Lindenhurst, NY, show.  And he did.  And he posted pics.  So I was ABSOLUTELY JAZZED.  And when I get jazzed I get chatty.  And I got chatty!

here is the list of amazing metal artists and their music that I am honored to host on THE METAL DELI #46:

BLACK DAWN -- Dangerous
SCARWORK -- Resurrected
MALICIOUS TENDENCIES -- My War Rages
LABELED -- Labeled
DEAD MEAT -- Kicked To The Curb
FISCHEL'S BEAST -- Fate of Kings
DENIED -- Black World
WINTER KNIGHTS -- How Do You Feel
TRINO -- Darkest Before Dawn
BLACK DAWN -- Push

Check out the show:  www.THEMETALDELI.com, subscribe (links on the website), buy a t-shirt or sweatjacket (www.indienink.com) and leave me a comment with love.  I LOVE comments with love!

Robots From Mars

Greetings From The Red Planet!

What happens if we send you a dead band member?
Aren't Zombies in?

Galen

PS We do have a new CD...our third, "Space Invader". The CD would make a nice coaster for your early morning coffee.

A Zombie would fit nicely on that empty wall space.  Send him on!  Always looking for new band art!
