The Brother Reade show at milk was a blast for us, the Instant Messengers demonstrated that not only Los Angeles knows how to party. And of course, we were right at home in a city where ignorant rap music and canvas skateboard sneakers go hand in hand.
While in town, we were lucky enough to catch more than a few hangouts with our boys the messengers from SF, a killer Whispertown 2000 show at the Bottom of the Hill (where they made that live avail record), and Despot at Bimbo's with Ratatat. Did I mention we popped hella tags at thrift town? Thanks again to the people's Cafe.
