Imagine a quality music festival featuring some of the best local/ Australian talent that doesn’t cost in excess of $100 per ticket.

Imagine a location that makes the Melbourne Showgrounds look like shit in comparison.

Imagine not having to spend $9 + for a can of beer and actually being allowed to bring your own without being ejected from the premises on arrival because you are effectively costing the event organizers money by not purchasing overpriced booze/food that tastes like shit anyway!

Imagine the freedom of knowing that just because you look like a hippy, you’re not being watched by security all night long and greeted at the gates by cops and sniffer dogs…..like a fucking criminal.

Imagine knowing that your presence is helping a small farming community in more ways than you could ever imagine.……………… This kind of thing doesn’t really happen anymore does it?

The KENNEDYS CREEK MUSIC FESTIVAL is back for it’s second year and promises to be a rip-snorter. We’re waving our freak-flag and heading down the Princess Freeway for a night of good honest Rock n’ Roll and old fashioned community spirit. Kennedys Creek is situated in Victoria’s Otways Forrest (south of Colac, 2 ½ hrs from Melbourne), a beautiful natural environment free of all the bullshit that we’ve ALL become far too familiar with (some people probably don’t even know life without it nowadays!). Playing on the big stage are Zoe, Gorge Gardner, Red Eagle, Scooters By Choice, The Strydes and headlining are Melbourne’s Dirty York. The festival will be held at the Kennedys Creek Town Hall where there is plenty of space to camp out for the night (or however long you wish to stay). Tickets are $30 “Family” & $20 “Single”. Don’t forget to bring a warm coat, blanket, and oh yeah, don’t forget to fill up your Esky on the way. This event is a fundraiser for the local community who wish to renovate and maintain their much loved Town Hall. Gonna be one hell of a party, no need to bring your ipod.

Hitchhikers note: Try to get the driver to take the new Geelong Ring Road, it’ll shave a bit off the travel time.
