Well three more classes to go and I will be an EMT-B. Will I use it not sure. I may lean in the direction of EMD. When I am done with my last class, I will be taking a 2 hour class on LZs. Neatest thing about this class is I get a certificate and I get to take a flight with ARCH. I am so looking for to that. Soon I will be sitting for the state and national EMT-B tests. Wish me luck!!!

Good luck, and hang in there! Here's hoping that you don't have to use it, especially not on me, I'm trying to keep my hide intact 8-)

Well I figured I would add this on in my state of lalaland. After 11/2 hours of sleep I did my 10 hours in the ER. I didn't learn a damn thing that an EMT-B was suppose to learn. I did save lives, and I did care for my patients and I did do what I still do best after all my years in the medical field. What you ask? I still put myself in the patients shoes. I still own a heart. I still give you modisty (sp) sorry exhaused. Like so many forget after year of the same old same old. I did learn alot from CT, MRI, EKG, TRAMA, MEDICAL you name it. I have never seen so much blood in my life but, when you volunteer your time picking up the dead for free it doesn't really seem to bother you anymore. Am I dead? No I still feel for every family that has lost a loved one. I have vowed to never loose that but, not to take it home with me. I have one more class to go. Wish me luck!!! Right now I am pulling a 98% all the way thru. Now I am going to bed and I am going to sleep as long as I can. So if the world comes to an end don't wake me up.
