writing letters!!! i have always loved the old school cut'n'past jobs you send to mates but now i'm into COMPLAINING! so much fun.

last week i wrote three letters.

1. george st greater union... three cinematic experiences in a row were 'not what i paid for'. for some reason the doors either were not closed until the film had well & truly started or NOT AT ALL! now i am being sent 'complimentary tickets' & staff will all be punished severely.

2. sunrise... kochy went on a sexist rant when it was announced that women would receive the same amount of prize money as men at wimbledon. i doubt that anyone took particular notice of my letter but this morning TWO points that i made were brought up & the women on the show were strangely empowered. one of them even said "do you even believe what you are saying?"

3. i thought that v festival needed to be informed that kim deal is the only woman listed as a performer at the sydney show (i think half of bumblebeez is female actually). even though she is amazing & beautiful & talented they need to bring someone... like the GOSSIP to stop it from being an indie boy wank fest. i really hope that dream comes true.

next i think i'll write a letter to myself re: my annual bout of homophobia when the g&l mardi gras rolls around...
